Stormtrooper Armor Review from Simon
For his wedding present, Simon Hitchins received one of our Stormtrooper costumes. Since then he has become an active charity fundraiser as The White Knight....
In 2012, Simon's grandmother passed away following a major stroke. He decided to raise money for Weston General Hospital (#1057589) in support of the care the staff had given his grandmother and to his visiting family.
After a friend's wife passed away from cancer, Simon started to raise money for Weston Hospicare (#900328) as well.
I decided to lend a hand, by getting involved as much as possible, and raising money and awareness for both charities.
I must also point out the good work by Will Denyer and friends - they have been running marathons around the UK and Europe for several years now, raising £24,000 in the process.
With several events already planned for this year, Simon says: I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in, plus I get to dress as one of my childhood dreams while doing it, making this a WIN WIN situation!
If you would like to support The White Knight, he can be found at the following events:
- 27/04/12 - Colour Run (Hospice) - http://www.westonhospicecaregroup.org.uk/events/#weston-colour-run

Here at the Stormtrooper Store, we are very humbled and proud to have been a small part of all the good work done by The White Knight and other fundraising customers.
